Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, preferably in the morning, embark on a drive to Ruhengeri near volcanoes. This scenic drive amidst rolling hills offers great views of the valleys, with big plantations. Upon arrival, you will check in, and later have dinner and overnight stay at your booked accommodation. Today after your early morning breakfast, at 7.30 am, you will be transported to the park's headquarters for the pre-trek briefing. Explore Volcanoes National Park in search of the rare mountain gorillas. Trekking can last from 1-6hrs depending on the movement of the gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have one hour to gaze into the eyes of these gentle giants. Take pictures, audio, and visual recordings as you watch them go about their daily activities like feeding, grooming, playing etc. Return to the park headquarters, and drive back to your accommodation. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a local community visit particularly the Iby' Iwacu Cultural Centre. At the center you will get to learn about Rwanda's traditional history of past kingship, leadership, marriage, beer making, and local herbs to mention but a few. Dinner and overnight stay at your booked accommodation. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After an early relaxed breakfast, embark on the drive from Volcanoes National Park back to Kigali. You may choose to have an early lunch en-route in Kigali. If time permits, visit the Genocide memorial center before being transferred to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight. Meal plan: Breakfast & Lunch End of service.
